About
Squirrel Flower is the Massachusetts-born & based artist who has been crafting her musical sound for as long as she can remember. Real name Ella Williams, Squirrel Flower was raised from a lineage of gifted musicians with her starting to sing herself in choirs at 8 and writing songs by 14.
Now Williams is 25 years old and recently graduated from Grinnell College, where she started getting her live chops opening for acts like Jay Som, Big Thief, and Moses Sumney (alongside her brother on guitar).
While the pandemic may have taken a toll on her touring, it did allow the rising singer to write as much as possible. One result: her Planet EP, which she describes as “an exercise in self-trust and experimentation.” It’s landed her placements on popular Spotify playlists like All New Indie & undercurrents.

She signed to Polyvinvyl Records back in 2019.
