About
One third of the collective MINIKINGS, North-London producer and singer Ragz Originale is constantly evolving. Getting his start producing for acts like Skepta, FKA twigs & SOPHIE, Ragz has been paving his own path in music combining elements of Afrobeats, R&B, rap, soul & bass. His diverse taste in producing is complemented by his two close friends and collaborators Oscar #Worldpeace and BenjiFlow. The trio released their mixtape “ICONICY” last year, which saw the MINIKINGZ collective come together to create something bold and new.
The musician has announced his 2023 album “Bare Sugar,” which promises to showcase the new styles Ragz has implemented into his craft. It’s fair to assume Oscar #Worldpeace and Benjiflow will have a hand in the album’s inception. BenjiFlow has explained how MINIKINGZ “is about pushing boundaries. Everything we do is based on the friendship we have with each other and that one goal of pushing boundaries as much as we can." Ragz, himself, is rich in creativity, and will undoubtedly continue to revolutionize the alternative scene in the UK.
Ragz Originale has received editorial support from Complex UK & Highsnobiety and has seen support on playlists like Free Form.
