About

Singer-songwriter, producer & multi-instrumentalist Khamari has shared his next single “Right My Wrongs” in anticipation of his debut album “A Brief Nirvana.” The Boston-born musician made the move out to Los Angeles during the pandemic and has since released his EP “Eldorado” and a number of breakout singles.

The album is arriving May 26th and encapsulates all the uncomfortable growth the Dorchester singer has experienced in the past years and the realization that attaining nirvana is a lifelong goal. Khamari’s musical prowess extends to his usage and reworking of samples as well. For example, Al Green’s timeless “Love and Happiness” assists on his track “On My Way” while Darondo’s frequently sampled hit “Didn’t I” features on the newest single “Right My Wrongs.” The artist’s musical influences span the spectrum, ranging from The Beatles and Stevie Wonder to Mac Miller and Kid Cudi.

Furthermore, his pairing of honest and poignant lyrics with contemporary production allows the vocalist to enrich each track with depth and powerful emotions. Khamari traverses through heartbreak and self-actualization with ease, switching between both groovy and infectious melodies and minimalist production when needed.

Khamari has seen support on playlists like Vanguard, Chilled R&B, and Lowkey. Learn more about the multi-instrumentalist below.

“Recording this gave me perspective and made me realize the search for clarity and nirvana is a lifelong one” - Khamari
