The Philadelphia-born indie-pop artist Anna Shoemaker is kicking off 2023 with her newest single “Holly,” an energetic and charming track dedicated to the friends who unconditionally put up with your B.S. Based out of Brooklyn, the singer-songwriter has been crafting introspective, dynamic pop songs since 2018. She released her highly-praised, debut album “Everything is Fine (I’m Only on Fire)” last year, which featured cinematic production and refreshing lyrics regarding the human experience.
Anna first saw success in her artistry after her mashup of Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” and Chance’s “Cocoa Butter Kisses” blew up on Soundcloud. Anna has gone on to release music with 5Towns Records & her current +1 Records, collaborating with artists like Richie Quake and Middle Part along the way. Additionally, her track “Sick!” is featured in Netflix’s newest romantic comedy “Your Place or Mine” starring Reese Witherspoon & Ashton Kutcher.
