Hailing from Parma, Italy, rockstar Eddie Sears is making a name for himself through his musical personality Rocket Pengwin. With dual citizenship in both Italy and the UK, Eddie channeled his vast taste in music into genres of emo rock, pop, & dance. Mirroring his move to a foreign New York City, Eddie has crafted a narrative around the idea of fitting in while being the odd one out through Rocket Pengwin.

Eddie’s creative project has brought him viral success, most notably when the project's namesake penguin took to New York City's subway as a publicity stunt to support his debut single release. Rocket Pengwin’s brand is strengthened by his social media presence, which features penguin-related shenanigans around NYC which serve to promote his upcoming music while simultaneously keying potential fans in to his lighthearted sense of humor.

Between creating remixes for heavy electronic acts like Sofi Tukker and putting his own spin on The Weeknd’s “Scared To Live,” Eddie is no stranger to experimentation in music. Now, Rocket Pengwin is finding his happy feet in the pop punk/emo scene with new releases like “What It Seems” and “Mars,” and will undoubtedly continue to turn heads as this arctic bird embraces what makes everyone unique.
