About
Toronto-native Ralph, born Raffa Weyman, thrives off of an adrenaline-based love for executing her creative vision by any means necessary. When that grind comes to fruition, Ralph fans become acquainted with a refreshing take as pop-glam meets 90s house music both visually and sonically.
Ralph’s brand is purposefully electric - sporting vibrant visual and synth-driven beats, Weyman speaks to the intention behind her curated pop persona. “My producer didn’t understand why I wanted the [first] project to be called Raffaela,” she explained, “but I really wanted to be someone else for my pop identity. Not to say that Ralph is a hugely different person than Raffa, but I like being able to separate one from the other.”
Ralph’s most recent EP Gradience saw immense editorial support from The FADER, Billboard, PAPER, + more. Weyman’s momentum continued following her EP release, and was preceded by opening slots for Carly Rae Jepsen, Ria Mae, and joan, as well as sync placements on HBO and VICE that garnered over 45 million streams across DSPs.
