About
Momma is the rising band out of Brooklyn who’ve set out to be rockstars. The leading duo of Etta Freidman & Allegra Weingarten have been making art together since high school in the LA-area before making their way east and adding new member Aron Kobayashi to the fold.
The twenty-somethings have already had their share of success opening for the likes of Wet Leg & beabadoobee. Now Momma has just released their nostalgic 90’s sounding album Household Name and even got nods from idols of theirs like Pete Wentz. The band hopes to capture the feel of a summer road-trip with the recent project which may or may not also throw a bit of shade towards former label exec interactions.
Momma landed earlier this year on NPR: Slingshot's Artists To Watch '22 list and have been living up to the hype ever since. Be sure to catch them on their headline tour later this year or on streaming here.
