About
Genesis Owusu is the 23-year-old rising star out of Australia who just won four ARIA awards last month, capping off a huge year.
The Ghana-born, Canberra-based artist is continuing to pave the way for alternative rock and hip-hop with his genre-blending tracks. Owusu took his time in lockdown to really develop his sound and released his album Smiling With No Teeth, which he says tells stories of depression and racism.
The album won ARIA’s album of the year in addition to three other awards. Up next, Owusu is hitting the road next year with stops in NA, AUS, and EU alongside Shayhan.
