Danny Dwyer is on a transformative journey. Fresh off the release of his double EP “Losers,” the midwest native constructs catchy hyper-pop songs that feel as magical as they do familiar. His new project is all about towing that line of seeking fame and riches, yet rejecting materialism and luxury. With tracks like “Brokenhearted” and “Summertime” touching on young love and making something of yourself, Danny Dwyer’s EP is the sound of a coming-of-age movie.
Danny has accumulated a dedicated following in the past few years that has grown with him. Beginning in a more chill, R&B space, Danny has hit his stride in contagious bedroom-pop. Swapping his clean cut and glasses from his early days for a messy mane and motorbike jackets today, the artist has cultivated a chaotic and whimsical brand that makes him a clear stand out.
The motorcyclist has much more up his sleeve on the recorded music front, having teased multiple new songs on his European tour supporting Alexander 23 and posting short snippets of his live shows on TikTok.
Danny has seen editorial support from The Luna Collective, office, MUNDANE + more, and notably has earned his place on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Indie: Best of 2022 along with Varsity Bars.
