Generated from usage data across both ROSTR Pro & ROSTR Free, these charts provide unique insight into who, & what, is being searched for across the music industry.
ROSTR Charts will be updated every Thursday & include both Most Visited & Trending charts for artists, companies & people on ROSTR.
Most Viewed
ROSTR’s Most Viewed charts for artists, companies & people rank the most viewed profiles on the platform.
They look at the amount of unique ROSTR members (across Free & Pro) who have viewed a profile at least once in the last 30 days.
While the chart measures the last 30 days, it’s updated every week on a rolling basis.
That means each week you’re looking at the artists, companies & people that are consistently getting the most traffic on ROSTR.
Trending
ROSTR’s trending charts are a little more complex.
They’re based on an algorithm that takes into account spikes in interest + the overall popularity of a profile.
The algorithm is designed to help balance profiles that are spiking from a very low base of views with other profiles that were already popular but have seen significant spikes too.
For example…
If a profile goes from 0 to 10 unique views that’s a big spike, but it’s from a very low base. Those spikes are diluted vs, for example, a profile that goes from 200 unique views to 500 unique views.
The trending algorithm attempts to balance this out. Trending charts are updated every 7 days for artists, companies & people.
