About

LAUNDRY DAY is the band hailing from Hell’s Kitchen NYC that only just graduated high school but are already making waves.

Before they even made it out of the classroom, the quintet were selling out shows at iconic venues like The Bowery Ballroom and The Roxy, in addition to hitting the road for festivals like Lollapalooza & Governors Ball. LAUNDRY DAY quickly picked up steam opening huge tours for The 1975 & Clairo while also getting support from major press like NME (they made it to their 100 artists to watch list) and The FADER.

Fast forward to 2022, the band just released their debut album We Switched Bodies after inking a major label deal with Warner Records. The genre-bending project was lent a hand by BROCKHAMPTON’s Kevin Abstract & Romil Hemnani.

When DIY asked if they were the best boy band since One Direction: “We’re just trying to be the first LAUNDRY DAY!”

Check them out at SXSW this week and stream all of their music here.
